Meet the Teacher
I wanted to be a teacher ever since I can remember. I taught various elementary grades in Rhode Island and Florida, moving from upper elementary (4th & 5th) to lower elementary (2nd). After moving to Florida, I taught in a Title I school for eight years. I earned Teacher of the Year in my final year of teaching and was a top 15 finalist in one of the largest school districts in the country.
As a teacher, I struggled to find the right resources for my students and created many of the resources that I used in the classroom. I loved teaching. I loved the students and being in the classroom. But after hearing from so many teachers that they also needed resources, I decided to start my own education resource business in 2012 with the goal of creating effective skill focused resources for teachers.
